Flashback: Scarlett's Sister

Welcome back to another Ages 25 & Up Flashback!  This week, we're heading back to January 2009, and the story that introduced Scarlett's twin sister, Willow from Dreadstar.  There's a break in the story for #21, which naturally, was a silent issue.  I just had to.

What other stories would you like to revisit?  Helix's introduction?  Army of Plastic?  The legend of Roy?  Let me know and we'll see them soon.  Thanks for sticking around!

Flashback: Clutch's New Body

Work on #400 is progressing (albeit slowly), so here's another A25U Flashback.  Let's head back to the comic's humble beginnings so we can better appreciate its humble present.

So this week, let's go all the way.  All the way BACK, that is.  Here are the first four issues of Ages 25 & Up, which began as a when-I-feel-like it thing on a small community site I used to be on with some friends.  Their enjoyment of the comic lead me to make it a weekly thing.

Well, weekly other than the animated specials, which take longer.

I'd like to think I've grown as a comic-making dude since this story, which originally wrapped up on this day, September 12, back in 2008.  Damn, it's been a while, eh?  I can't even read this crap anymore.  It's pure cringe to me now.  I guess not much has changed, has it?

Thanks for sticking with me all these years.  I'll try to make Special Animated Issue #400 worth your while!

#400 Sitrep & Flashback: Black Ops!

Your boy Numbers here with an update on the special animated issue, Ages 25 & Up #400.  Production is taking longer than expected and voice recording had to be delayed since I got a throat infection.  Pretty self-explanatory.

So while we wait for #400, I'll post some "It Came From the Backissues!"-style old stuff.  Stories we might have forgotten about, or ones worth revisiting.  This week, here's the Black Ops story, which ran way back in May of 2009.

It was my first attempt at a serious story, one starring Beachhead and Dusty.  I don't think it quite worked out as well as it did in my head, but it's one I look back upon fondly.  The first time I used outdoor photography in the comic, too!  Check out all three issues below, and check back next time for some more Flashbacks and an update on #400.

See ya then!
